  1. How do I post an item?
  2. To post a new listing you must first login to the site. Then select Add New Post from the menu on the right. The Add Post section of the site will be displayed. The first thing you can do is attach any images you may have for your listing. If you have no images select the I have no images button. The next step is to fill in the item box with the name of whatever you are selling. Select a category that best fits the item that you are selling and finally give a detailed description of the item that you are selling in the Description box. Listing your contact information is optional. Members of the site can contact you with an inter-site message or through email.

  3. What can I not post to the board?
  4. We do not allow lewd or off topic posts. We are strictly a resource to be used for selling personal items. If you would like to post products that you are selling as a business we ask that you upgrade your account to a sponsor account. You can do so by clicking here

  5. My post that I submitted disappeared after a day?
  6. Your post is actually still visible. When you click a category to view the post listed under it by default the site displays the items that have been submitted today. If you wish to view older items you can select the options in the upper left hand corner for This Week or Older.

  7. I need to delete a post?
  8. After you have logged into the site select Manage Posts from the menu on the right. Find the post you wish to delete and then select the delete option.

  9. I need to edit a post?
  10. Follow same procedure as deleting above instead select edit.

  11. Forgot my password
  12. You can attempt to reset your password by clicking here. An email will be sent to the email address that you used to register with. Please check your junk mail folders for this email as we have noticed some filters perceive it as spam. If you still do not receive an email you can send an email to email address requesting your password to be reset.

  13. Which browser should I use?
  14. Here at BaseForSale we recommend the FireFox Browser available here. However Internet Explorer also works.

  15. How come there is no board setup for (insert base name)?
  16. We can setup a board for any installation that wishes to have one. Just send us an email requesting that a board be created and we can have it up and running in a day.
